Wellness

I believe in a natural approach to wellness. I train outdoors using my own body weight – no gyms, no machines. Cross-training helps me develop strength, speed, power, endurance and flexibility. My current activities include trail running, swimming, paddling, cycling, calisthenics, plyometrics, body-weight exercises and suspension training.

Aided by various loved ones, I am engaged in an ongoing quest for mindfulness. It’s a slow, somewhat staccato process involving yoga and meditation, but I’m getting there.

My diet focuses on freshly cooked, locally sourced food. I go for a high vitamin, high protein quota and, although I’ve learned to say NO occasionally I’d sooner eat what I want than worry about calories. Life’s much more fun that way.
